  • Growatt inverter featuring a 5-year warranty and remote monitoring available as an optional extra.
  • In some cases, planning permission is not required. If it is required then permission would almost certainly be granted. We have never had any occasion when planning permission has been refused for ground mount solar.

Angle and Orientation

The efficiency of solar panels is strongly influenced by how they are positioned. The Pitch Perfect system is engineered to optimise this. For best results, the array should be oriented south, with a maximum deviation of 15 degrees either way. This placement ensures the panels capture the most sunlight throughout the day. It’s also crucial to keep nearby trees and buildings clear to prevent shading, allowing the system to perform at its full potential.

To make sure that your site is suitable for a Pitch Perfect system, please ensure that all of the following apply to your site:

  • Ability to install on a fairly level ground
  • Ability to install either facing south or no more than 15° – 20° off south
  • Absolutely no shading from the south, east, or west by trees, buildings or other structures
  • Fairly close to a 240v AC power supply. Minimum rating 13A per unit
  • Clear space of 8m long x 3m wide for the install

Also if we are installing, we need to know

  • Type of ground it will be sitting on
  • Distance to power supply & photo of supply
  • Do we have vehicle access to the site
  • Number of Pitch Perfect modules been considered
  • Any other PV installed on the same supply
