Who are Solarvault and what products and services do you offer?

Based in Kent, UK, Solarvault provides innovative solar energy solutions for homes, businesses, farms, and the plant hire industry, helping companies move towards net zero. From solar-powered lighting towers to our solar and wind-powered electric fuel pump bowser, the Smart Refuelling Station, we offer a wide range of products. We also supply ground-mounted solar panel systems for open land, farms, or properties where roof installation isn’t possible, making clean, renewable energy accessible and practical for every need.

Pitch Perfect – Tiltable Ground Mounted Solar System

The Pitch Perfect is an adjustable, tiltable ground-mounted solar system designed for anyone with land, farms, or properties that don’t have a suitable roof for solar panels. It’s a grid-tied system, meaning it connects directly to the electricity network, and comes with a simple handle that allows you to adjust the angle of the panels throughout the year. This flexibility ensures the panels capture the maximum amount of sunlight in every season, boosting energy generation by up to 40% compared to fixed systems.

Ideal for those looking to make the most of their available space, the Pitch Perfect system combines efficiency with practicality. Its ground-mounted design keeps installation and maintenance straightforward, while the built-in inverter and optional remote monitoring make it easy to manage your solar energy output. It’s a smart solution for anyone wanting to harness solar power efficiently, even if their property doesn’t have a suitable roof.

A grid-tied solar system is one that is connected directly to the electricity grid. This means any electricity your solar panels generate can be used to power your home or business first, and any excess electricity can be sent back to the grid. Conversely, if your panels aren’t producing enough power (for example, at night or on cloudy days), you can draw electricity from the grid as usual.

Grid-tied systems are popular because they allow you to maximise the use of your solar energy without needing large batteries for storage.

Yes! We offer two versions of the Pitch Perfect ground-mounted solar system to suit different needs.

The standard Pitch Perfect system comes with 6 x 400W solar panels, giving a total output of 2.43 kWp. It features Angle Changing Technology to maximise efficiency throughout the year, a Growatt inverter with a 5-year warranty, and optional remote monitoring. Installation is straightforward, and in many cases planning permission isn’t required. The system also comes with a 2-year warranty and a 25-year panel performance guarantee.

For those looking for even more power, we offer the Pitch Perfect Max, which uses 6 large 585W bifacial panels for a total output of 3.68 kWp. It includes the same tilting technology, ground-mounted design, and inverter options as the standard system, along with the same warranties and planning benefits.

We can also install multiple systems on larger plots or farms, making it easy to scale up your solar setup and maximise energy production across your land.

The installation of a Pitch Perfect system typically takes between 6 and 8 hours to complete. The exact time can vary depending on a number of factors, including the location of the installation, the type and condition of the ground, accessibility for equipment, and the complexity of the wiring. For example, uneven or sloped terrain may require extra preparation to ensure the panels are securely mounted, while sites with easy access and level ground can be set up more quickly. Additionally, the proximity to your existing electrical connection and any specific site requirements can affect how long the installation takes. Our team works efficiently to ensure a safe, precise setup while minimising disruption, so you can start generating solar power as soon as possible.

We have Pitch Perfect Ground Mount Solar Systems in stock and ready to go.

Solar panels typically have a lifespan of 25 to 30 years, and many can continue producing electricity for up to 40 years. At Solarvault, we back our Pitch Perfect systems with a 2-year warranty and provide a 25-year panel performance guarantee, giving you long-term peace of mind and reliable energy production.

Power Tower – Solar Powered Lighting Tower

The Power Tower is a solar-powered lighting and energy system designed for flexible, off-grid use. Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA)

A Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) is a long-term contract between a business and a renewable energy provider. Under a PPA, the company agrees to purchase a set amount of electricity directly from the renewable energy project at an agreed price over a fixed period.

This arrangement allows businesses to secure clean, predictable, and often lower-cost energy while supporting renewable energy development. CPPAs can help companies meet sustainability targets, reduce carbon emissions, and provide financial certainty by locking in energy costs for the duration of the agreement.

Yes. A Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) allows your business to purchase renewable electricity directly from a clean energy provider over a long-term period. By sourcing energy from wind, solar, or other renewable projects, your company can significantly reduce its carbon emissions and contribute to a net zero strategy.

CPPAs provide predictable, often lower-cost energy while supporting the development of additional renewable capacity. They can form a key part of your sustainability roadmap by helping your business meet environmental targets and lock in energy costs for the duration of the agreement.

General Solar Panel FAQs

This depends on how much power you require from each product.

Power Tower = Has 3 x 400w panels. There are also 4 x 130ah batteries for storing the energy created.

Smart Refuelling Station = This holds 2,000L of diesel and is powered by a 400w solar panel.

Pitch Perfect Ground Mount System = 6 x 400w solar panels.

Pitch Perfect Max Ground Mount System = 6 x 585w solar panels

A very small solar panel setup can save you nearly £500 per year in energy costs. The bigger the solar panel setup, the more money you save per annum.

Solar panels generally have a lifespan of 25 to 30 years, though they can remain functional for up to 40 years.

Rain will handle the majority of the cleaning for the solar panels. However, you can use a dry cloth to remove any dust that may build up.

Although it is possible for solar panels to overheat, they would have to reach incredibly high temperatures in order to do so.

Solar panels can convert between 15-50% of sunlight into usable energy, depending on the conditions. A 20% conversion rate is sufficient to power a house for an entire day.

Solar panels require little maintenance in general. Cleaning them a couple of times a year should be enough in most cases.

Solar panels will work when there is even minimal sun. The more direct sunlight there is, the more energy that will be generated.

By producing your own power, you reduce your dependence on grid electricity, which in turn lowers reliance on fossil fuels that emit harmful pollutants into the atmosphere. The same applies to anything you power from the panels that would have previously required petrol, diesel, or oil.

Solar panels do not generate energy at night. However, solar energy generated during the day can be stored in batteries.

PV stands for photovoltaics, which refers to the process where light is converted into energy when it interacts with a semiconductor material, like silicon. This phenomenon is known as the photovoltaic effect.

Like any other power source, solar energy can be used to charge batteries. This allows you to utilise solar power even after sunset.

The panels are composed of silicon, encased in a protective glass cover and held within a metal frame.

Shade will have some effect on the panels, but it won’t be very much. As long as there is sunlight, then there will still be energy created.
